How often is a corn plant supposed to be watered? I know it depends on factors such as temp, light, size, etc. But, in general, how wet is the soil supposed to be kept? I bought a corn plant from a well established nursery in my area. Two ladies that worked there told me to hardly ever water it. They said, "maybe once per month". I usually kept the plant dry with an occasional watering. The leaves turned yellow, then brown and dry, and now the plant is pretty much bare. I decided to try again and bought a new corn plant which looks very beautiful and healthy. I need to know if this plant likes to be kept dry or have a regular watering. Please help!

My email is c-leigh1@msn.com

THANKS!

Regular thorough soaking of the soil, at an interval that the top inch of soil drying out will determine. They will tolerate dry conditions, but thrive with the same sort of watering that most of your plants like. Derek
