I had 2 beautiful palm trees that I purchased last summer. They were doing fine until I repotted them both. Most of the leaves have dropped off, but I am still getting new growth. They are getting good light, am keeping them watered, what am I doing wrong??

Re-potting can sometimes cause big problems. If the new pots used were too large, with all that extra soil now, the roots will stay wet longer which causes them to suffocate, then eventually rot.
Re-potting should really only be done when absolutely necessary. Or, just you just hated the pots they where in. It's best then to stay with the same size pot size or, close to it. If they were really root-bound, it's best to just go up one pot size, maybe even two sizes larger, like a 5" pot to a 6" pot. The soil has to be good draining as well.
Light for palms should be bright but indirect, no direct hot sun.
Soil should be always on slightly moist side.

I also am on my second palm tree, my first one seemed to rot. Now this one has some kind of worms in it. What causes this, and what should I use to get rid of them. should I give new soil?
