My plants leaves started turning brown then black on the tips then taking over the whole plant. About 30% of the leaves are now this way. what do I do and what can I do to prevent this in the future.

You must have low humidity and dry air. You can cut the tips off where it is turning brown. Mist it daily and it should stop. You could also try filling a tray with rocks and adding water to it, then place your plant above the tray this will help raise the humidity for it, or group all of your plants together and the plants themselves will increase the humidity for each other. Not to worry, this is a very hardy plant and it will get back to it's feet. It's probably just going through the change of season blues..Spring is here..so it will be fine..Most plants don't show their stress until after the season is over..

Good luck:)
