I recently bought a Juncus Spirale plant and do not know how to take care of it. I purchased it at Wal Mart and they had no idea what the care was. They are really neat looking. Hopefully someone can tell me something about them.
Thank You

I bought one a Walmart also Can I keep it as a house plant? If I have to put it outside, can I do a moist area that has part sun/shade?

I also purchased this plant and I have seen varities in the Plant Delights Nursery catolog (they also have a web-site). They were through Zone 4-10 and like the others said, it likes boggy conditions and sun to part sun.

I also bought Juncus Spirales from Walmart....and did not know how to care for it. I live in south fla and have it in a clay pot and water it every morning and it is doing just fine! My husband and I loved it too, we like unusual plants and tropicals.

Wal-Mart has these plants in a deep tray of water, sort of like a bird bath. No one there could tell me what care the plant requires, and there were no instructions on the pot.
I once had a "corkscrew rush" plant when I lived in NYC, and I kept it in a pot of water at all times, in a southwest facing window.
My question: If I buy this and want to keep it indoors, should I keep it in a pot of water at all times? I now live on the west coast of Florida and I would plan to keep it in a southwest facing window.
Thank you!
Judy
