hi , my friend gave me a plant before she went to florida . the leaf is green and the under part is a purple color . it has purplish vines and it is a hanging plant . the tag was gone when she gave it to me .

On the left side of this page click on "Plants By Name". Then click on "W". Then click on Wandering Jew. Does the picture look like your plant? The photo really doesn't show the purple a wandering jew has but you should be able to tell if it is your plant or not. If it is....make sure you do not over water! Water only when the top inch or so of soil is dry. Water slowly until it starts to drain out of the bottom. Trim by pinching off new growth at the ends so the vines don't start to look "leggy" (long with too much space between leaves).
