I love Roses and have done everything by the book.
I keep losing Roses to diseases. I spray my roses
every seven days like they said but the leaves keep
turning yellow with small black spots. I've used a lot
of stuff and it's always the same thing.
I'm using something called EIGHT insect control.
It seems to help but I'm still getting it.
HELP

If you are following the book you are a good little consumer and you are making the chemical companies richer every day. You do have a problem though. The problem is that your roses won't survive all those chemicals.

Instead- do this- Get some really good totally broken down compost or earthworm castings. Plant another rose by digging a hole about 1 to 2 feet wide. Then do the following:

Mix
4 parts the existing soil
2 parts sharp sand ( also known as torpedo sand at garden centers)Do not use beach or mason sand as it will compact like concrete
2 parts compost or earth worm castings

Plant your roses in this and they will grow healthy, strong, diseses and insect free.

This will P off the Chemical Industry but your roses will do really great.

Have fun and enjoy
