We purchased a Juncus Spirales and would like to know if it could be planted in a garden pond. If so at what depth and any special planting instructions.
Thank You!

Dear Jim,
I have a relative to your Juncus...which is Carmens Rush...grows upright, not curly and low like yours. You may looke it up in a garden encyclopedia under Junchus (spirales) and get the whole low down...good luck, Carol

We built a bog near our small pond last summer and put a juncus spirales in it. It did okay last summer and I was just out weeding my bog today and there is new growth under the dead stuff. So I think it is safe to say that you can keep it outside near a pond as long as you keep the soil moist. Hope this helps.
