In a hanging pot, green leaves with red blooms shaped like
fuzzy cat tail about 2-3 inches in length.

The Chenile plant (Acalypha hispida) has fuzzy,long, red cat tail looking blooms that hang from the ends of the stems/branches.

I just bought one of those! Besides Chenille plant, it is also known as a Cat Tail or Fox Tail. Mine is in a hanging basket and is on my patio in indirect light. It is really thriving and has at least 60 red "tails" now. I water when the top inch or so of soil feels like it is starting to get dry and then I water just until it starts to drain out of the bottom.
