I am just wondering if I should worry about pruning some of the foliage on my tomato plants. I have heard that this aides in air circulation and allows sun to get to the fruit. What do you think?

If the plants are full height, and have been growing strongly, taking off a few leaves is probably a good idea. Don't overdo it since the plants will need to continue making food in order to fill out the fruit, but the two benefits that you mention are real and worth going for. Derek

I HAVE FOUND THAT PRUNING JUST THE SUCKERS ON THE TOMATOE PLANTS IS HELPFULL IN THEIR GROWTH BUT HAVE NOT FOUND ANY DIFFERENCE, IN THE FRUIT TURNING ANY RIPER, ANY QUICKER.

WHAT TURNS THE FRUIT ON THE TOMATOES, KIND OF BLACK SPOTED I HEARD THAT IT MAY BE BLIGHT WHAT EVER THAT MEANS, COULD IT BE FROM OVER WATERING?
