I have an Asiatic lily plant, also known as Japanese lily I think. I had one last year, and 3 weeks after I got it, all the flowers dropped off and did not bloom again. The plant is begininning to come up this year, and looks like it will soon be ready to bloom.
I like the way the flowers look so much, I got another one this year, and again, a few weeks after I had it the flowers fell off and it is not blooming again.
Am I doing something wrong, or are the flowers on these plants short lived?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

Those type of lilies are one time bloomers. The foliage will keep living though until Fall. I also own an asiatic lily. They multiply ever year too. I put mine in a big container and by the next year, it was totally full! Have to transplant already!
