i would like to know if a juncus spirales would surive central ny winters in a pond i live in utica ny

I know that it is grown in Canada, so it should be all right - can't speak from personal experience, though. Derek

I have tried this plant and it survived 2 winters here in southern New England...but finally did not return this year..I believe they are better in zone 6 and above, to my knowledge.

Will it live as a container plant in a living room without any direct sunlight? The room is full of windows, but it faces south. Also, why would it have strands that are turning brown?
