Susan is right. You have Fungus Gnats. The larvae feed off fungus that is growing in the soil because the soil is staying too wet. They really do not affect the plants, but they can be quite a nuisance since the adults gnats are attracted to warmth and light such as computer monitors and windows. If you can get the top inch of soil to dry out, the fungus will die and without food the larvae will also perish. The remaining flying gnats will usually go away within a week. I suggest removing the top inch of soil then working in Diotomaceous Earth into the next inch of soil. (You can usualy get this at one of the better nurseries in your area) It is a fine powder that will help to quickly dry up the top layer of soil and is also very abrasive to the small larvae. Finally youned to cut back on watering your indor plants to every week to 10 days. If you can still pinch the soil together and it sticks, wait until the soil is crumbly on top before watering again. Good luck.
