how long does it take each plant to produce fruit?

Depending on how big your plants were to begin with and if you're from FL- maybe within a year. I assume we're talking the indoor, miniature varities (musa/meyers?) I've had both and the banana tree grew real well- had babies all the time- never flowered. the lemon tree got a few blooms but never really produced any fruit. this was in Iowa and indoors strictly. fun to grow, though and a great converstion piece. hope this helps and good luck!
