I just recieved an air plane(spider) plant as a gift and have began to notice that there are holes with brown edges. Is there some kind of spiders or bugs eating this plant? What can I do to treat it?

Thanks,

Are the new leaves showing the damage? if not you can assume that the problem has stayed at your friends house. Holes could be a fungus problem, but it is not likely to be serious. Could also be from fluoride in your water. What is apparently good for teeth is very bad for some plants. Derek
