How do you trim Rhodedendrum after they have bloomed?

Don't cut at all unless you need to. Then do it to shorten wild growing branches and give the bush a nice shape - but you don't have to prune ANYTHING unless there is a good reason for it. Derek

on the wooden brances of the rhodedendrum there are black spots almost covering all of the branch. i do not know what this is. the plant seems healthy and still blooms. thanks

When is the best time to trim a rhodedendrum that is getting too large around a window? I trimmed one last year after blooming, but didn't have many blooms this year.

My Rhodedendrum's leaves are turning brown on the tips and edges. What is wrong??

My rhodedendrums have been planted close to the house for 10 years - the soil is acidic due to oak trees & does not get that much sun. It is very straggly with not many blooms. What can I do to make it fuller & healthier?
