I have a money tree plant that has begun getting sap on the leaves and knats. Any suggestions how I can get rid of both? It's been losing leaves as a result.
Thank you so much.

Hi Deborah: This is from the care instructions that came with a Money Tree which I got just this past Friday.
Insect control: Pests that may attack money trees are spider mites, mealy bug, and aphids. High humidity and frequent washing off the leaves of your plant will discourage insect problems. If insects do become a problem, thoroughly spray your plants, including tower leaf surfaces, with a house plant insecticide, carefully following label directions.
Hope this helps.
