does anyone have any info on fruit flies in your plants?

Please go to the Search and look up gnats for a lot of information on getting rid of them. They are not fruit flies and are living in a wet layer at the top of the soil in your pots. Derek

They are definately not fruit flies. They are a small gnat-like insect that feeds on decomposing plant material. My advice....keep your soil clean and water a little less.
