On one of my weekly visits to a consignment store, I spotted a very sick, ill looking Rubber Plant.
I purchased it for $3.00 and am trying to nurse it back to health. It has lots of branches but very few leaves. The leaves that are on the plant are drooping downward.
Put it in a fresh pot, added Miracle Grow potting mix, watered it and placed it on my back porch outside in the warmth with indirect light.
How long shall I give it to start regrowing? Is there anything else I can do? Saved many plants before from peril -- want desperately to salvage this one!
Please help!!! Thanks...

make sure you wipe the leaves over with a soft cotton cloth at least once a week as this helps the leaves to photosynthesis. don't give up on it, it could take two or three weeks for it to pick up.

Thank you for the response - keep looking at it and hoping it will come back.
I am addicted to nursing plants back to health - it makes me so proud when they look healthy. Thanks again!

Hi; Thank you for entertaining my question. I have a stalk cutting about 4 feet tall with approximately 20 to 25 (4-6 inch) leaves. How do I start it, it does not have any roots?
