My mom has called me with a question, she happens to work in a jungle with a doctors office in the middle of it, there are ALOT of plants, and one of her pathos is looking like it just came out of the dryer. It has go the white cotton like stuff on it. I know its a bug but what is the best way to get rid of it.

Sounds like the pothos has mealy bugs. Spray the plant down until it's soaking wet and dripping using a spray bottle. put in about an inch or so of rubbing alcohol and fill the rest up with water. Spray the plant thoroughly, getting every part of the plant wet, do this every 5 days or so for a few weeks to try and get them all. Try and cover the soil as much as possible.

You can also use some mild soapy water. Make sure that the plant is not around any of the others, or they can become invested too. Just in case, maybe the other plants should be checked for mealies, or, any other pest.
