dear sir i would like to ask u about my plant Hydrangea i got it and i feel that its not growing normally it had brown tips and it doesnt give any flowers and lose alot of leaves.the other is gardenia it had flower buds but befor the bud open its browning and fall down what the conditions to give flowers and what the way to have big flower bud . i start give them both fert 20/20/20 and iron fert. thanks alot if u reply fast lara

Your hydrangea will have stopped flowering for this year (as they all do). Don't cut it back unless you have to, as it will be making next year's flower buds now. The gardenia is a water supply problem - too little or too much, or an alternation between the two. Gardenias are not an easy plant to grow. Be careful not to give too much fertilizer - about half what the package recommends will be plenty, and stop altogether if growth slows down. Derek
