I recently purchased a majesty palm. Its already about 10 feet tall, its in my living room, indirect light, but its all turning brown. I have watered sparingly. Wondering what I should be doing. Don't want it to die

Hi Brenda,

I know everyone says Majesty Palms are next to impossible to grow indoors, but mine has been thriving/growing indoors for 2 years now. I should say that I'm no plant expert, but I keep it in direct sunlight as much as I can (in a west-facing window) for all but the hottest days in summer. You also might want to give it more water. They like to be moist at all times, but just don't let the roots sit in water. They also have nutritional requirements, so you might want to fertilize more often than you do for most of your plants. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Andy
