I have a peace lily and the outer edges of the leaves are turning brown. What am I doing wrong?

Plants like the peace lily, spider plant and a few others are prone to getting brown tips. Hard-water can cause them, so can dry or wet soil. Let the roots fill the pot and water when the top couple inches feel really close to dry, you should see less of that problem. You can also water with distilled or rain water.
