hi,i am enjoying your website,and i hope you could help me. i have a yucca tree (very large) it keeps growing yellow (what i beleive are)mushrooms in the soil. i repotted it in a galvinezed steel pot from ikea about 4 months prior to the first sign of the mushrooms.my house is basically warm. it is in a bright cathedral room with windows facing the southeast. it appears to be very happy. thankyou in advance for any info you can share. tracey

The yellow mushrooms are harmless and won't hurt your plant at all. Maybe at some point there was some unsterilized soil that was added to the pot that contained mushroom spores.You can either just simply pull them out, or let them be.
