My potted 3-gal. Pointsetta has been dropping leaves & buds for a week now. It was very wet when purchased, so I have not watered it at all. Any suggestions??
Thank you, Eileen

Dear Eileen, Sounds like maybe your plant got overwatered, I would only water it when dry...and keep it in a sunny situation...you may have to cut it back some to shape it up. Good luck

When I got my poinsetta over a year ago it was flowered and had dark red leaves. Since then I had to replant it to a larger pot. It had grown nicely. Know it has droped all of the dark leaves and has grown green leaves. Some get yellow and fall off. It is still growing leaves but it has not gotten flowers or the green leaves have not turned deep red. I was told it should be put in a dark place. I keep it in a very sunny window with other plants. What Iam I doing wrong. The leaves are lighter green and it has grown very high.

I received as a gift a very small pointsetta and now it is over 6" tall. What type of climate can you plant these outside?
