I am a few bamboo stalks in a glass of water - not sure of the type of bamboo. Three of the stalks are fine; the fourth stalk has turned yellow. Why? and what can I do about it?
thanks....Dee Dunn

I had that happen to me, but the whole entire stalk didn't turn yellow, so I just cut the yellow part off and the rest of the cane is doing well. In your case, I would just throw it away. Be sure to keep the plant out of direct sunlight and that the bottom of the canes are only 2-3 inches in water.
