How do you take care of plant?

How many times do you water this type of plant?

How many times do you need to soil?

I just recieved this plant for valentines, so it has been in my care since. The soil looks dry in about three days after watering plant. I don't have a green thumb so I need some kind of information on how to treat my plant. Thank you, Naseem

Keep your peace lily in bright indirect light (no direct sun) Water thoroughly until it comes out the drainage holes (empty excess water from saucer)Then not again until the top inch feels almost dry. They like somewhat moist soil at all times, that does not mean water everyday though.

Let the plant get on the root-bound side. They can stay in the same pot for a few years without any problems.

If after watering like stated above and the soil still dries out within three days, it probably needs to be re-potted because it's severely root-bound or the soil is mostly peat.
You might want to wait until spring.
In the meantime, you might find that putting the whole pot into a bucket of water will wet the whole root-ball. Submerge pot down into water (over pot's rim) for about five minutes or so, whenever the soil stops bubbling.

Fertilize half strength about once a month.
