We bought some tropical plants @ Sam's about 8 months ago,the 2 "fan-like" we placed in our bedrm, & the 2 "tree-like" in our family rm.(they came with no info tags),occassionally we would notice these tiny dead worms on the carpet in our bedroom, they are striped & curled like a meal worm. About 2 weeks ago we noticed several on the surface soil of the tree-like plants which are in the next rm. this AM we noted a cluster of them on that same tree,all dead & my 15 y/o d/s now say he pulled a lg gray worm out of the soil last week. Are these plants salvageble w/o infecting other plants & if so what should we use to rid the plant of them w/o harming it?
