What you probably have is a kentia palm. The only thing you can do is cut off any parts of burnt parts of the fronds back to where you see healthy growth for now since any that are damaged won't repair itself.
Whole fronds that are really damaged can be back to their growing point, taking the whole stem. Just don't cut the crown down where all the stems grow from or the whole palm plant can die. That's how I keep my Areca pruned back some when the leaves grow so tall they bend at the ceiling.

Better to put it in bright shade if it's going to be outdoors, it should grow fine there.
If it was in the sun inside your house, it's much more intense outside, so it would need to be moved into brighter and brighter light, but you need to do it slowly.
