I have a lot of plants in my home, they are well cared for. Every year at around this time it seems, I get little knats that come out of the soil. If I water a little to much, they stay close to the water that leaches out the bottom. If I let the plants stay on the dry side, the knats are going crazy inside my house looking for water I think. I have tried all kinds of store bought stuff and nothing has worked ever. I am hoping that there is a simple home remedy that I can try. Thank You.
