I was recently given a tree that was described by my neighbors as a "palm" of some sort. It's an indoor tree. I was told it needs lots of light and to be watered quite a bit, once a week. Well, I've had it a week and I think it's dying already! I'd like to find out what it is before I kill the poor thing. Please excuse my poor excuse for plant lingo as I try to describe:

- About 6 ft tall
- 4 different trees sprouting out of pot
- long, fairly thin "trunks" that kind of remind me of bamboo
- thin, green, long leaves sprout rather pineapple-ish from the top of trunks
