I received an aloe plant from a friend and I'm assuming they had it in too shallow of a pot because the root ball that is about six inches long has a 90 degree bend about two inches below where the leaves start. It made for difficult repotting and I'm wondering if I could remove the root at the bend and will it grow straight from there?
