Please help me! I am new to plants and about a month bought a Desert Rose. The plant is beautiful, no leaves falling out, no signs of pests, no simptoms of over or under/watering, LOTS of fully developed blooms, but they dont OPEN UP!
I live in the Caribbean *Dominican Republic*, the plants receives over 6 hours of sunlight everyday. The flowers have a lively colour so I dont reckon this has to do with copper. Ive read over 10 Web sites but it seems to me this problem is not that common - as nobody is writing about it.
Please anyone help me!! I LOVE these plants and their flowers!
Thanks all for reading,

Position Desert Rose in full sun or some afternoon shade for best flowering, but use even less water in partial shade conditions. Select an acid soil mix with plenty of peat moss and organic elements and coarse sand. Be certain the soil mix and the pot drain very well
this is from a the website mgonline.com check them out they know their desert rose. i hope you plant gets better.

Thank you so much for the responses and the advise!
The location where I had the plant only allowed it to take full morning sun, but not afternoon's. I moved it and it has over 11 flowers open at the same time!
Thanks again :)!
