My plant is very healthy and happy looking, but the day after I water it, there are little black-looking worms that have apparently crawled out and tried to escape the watered soil. There will be about 25 of them scattered around on the floor below the planter, with a few on the credenza front (that the planter sits on), all dried up and dead. I've had the plant since April and repotted it once. It's about 18" high x 15" wide and started out as one of many plants in a dish planter from a florist. I will have an occasional yellow leaf or two. After I repotted it, I was getting some mushrooms in the soil, which I seldom see anymore, but I reduced my watering schedule and quantity. I have other plants in the room with no sign of worms from them. I would appreciate ANY help on this disgusting problem!

If your plants looks healthy there may not be a problem with the worms, but if they bother you you can use snail bait. Even when you put it on the surface it decompoises and seeps down to kill worms as well (this is why you shouldn't use it on your outdoor garden where you want worms to be).
