Hi, I recived a plant that a friend of mine decided she couldn't take care of anymore. It's in pretty poor shape right now, but I've spotted some new growth so I think I can save it, but Im not sure what type of plant it is.

It has 3 stems growing together and leaves growing out of the stem that are long and spotted yellow. All in all, it looks like it has anthrax or something, but I'm told it's supposed to have yellow spots. Right now the plant is about 9 inches tall, and I was told at one point it was 'bushy' (though it looks rather bare right now).

Hello, amadues. That's a croton. You will get more info about crotons in the encyclopedia at the top of this page.
