I can't find the exact name for this succulent:





Very hardy. I rescued it from a very tiny clipping.

As soon as I saw the picture, I knew what it was, and now my brain's gone! Try...aeonium, while I wrack the grey cells into cooperating! Oh, that's really frustrating....

I googled aeonium, I don't think it is.

Yeah, there's lots of aeoniums, though, not just the large rosette ones which are commonest. My brain is still saying aeonium, or perhaps an echeveria but they tend to be mostly rosette forming as well.... Yeah, try looking for a picture of echeveria coccinea.

Sorry I can't be more help. I'm pretty certain I know what it is, but I just can't think of its name. Always the same, isn't it?

Yeah, I think it is echeveria coccinea:

My plant is still young, so it hasn't developed the red trim around the leaves yet.

Looks close to me. You'll be able to tell better once it's grown a little, and definitely after it flowers (if it flowers!)
