Hello,
I am new to this forum - My question is - I have a 5 year old ficus variated leaf tree. While I was gone for a few weeks my husband left it out side when there was a frost on two nights. Needless to say the leaves have all turned brown and dropped. Can I save it? And if so How? It is now back in the house in its usual place. Thank y ou for any help I can get. this little tree means a lot to me.

This happened to me a few years ago. I brought it in and all the leaves fell off, yet the wood remained supple and green. When the days began to grow longer in the spring, it began to sprout new leaves. It was, by far, the prettiest it had ever been that summer.
