I was given a plant or some sort of tree. It favors a palm tree, as in like it has a bamboo looking trunk and the leaves are at the top like a palm tree, except the leaves are not like a palm tree's leaves...they're just regular looking leaves...like a long tear drop. I've never really had plants but its so pretty and i dont what it to die. It was at my uncle's funeral and someone gave it to me. It did not have an identification tag...

I think you need a very very experience garden if you want to have right guess about that through the above explanation but if you upload its photo or any pic then you might get a better appropriate answer.
