Just moved into my new house. I'm not sure what any of the plants around my house are. This plant used to be really tall and cover up the windows. I've kind of cut it down to bush size. Pictures are of the same plant, just different angles. It has some nasty thorns on it and I'm not sure if I want to keep it. Please help id it so I can make a decision soon. Thanks.

Just a guess, but it looks like a Firethorn/Pyracantha to me. If it is, it should have lots of flowers in spring, and berries in autumn. One of my favourite shrubs - nastily prickly, yes, but gorgeous to look at.

Thanks! I looked that one up and it seems to grow the same way. I'll probably keep this one.
