hey guys *waves* ok a few weeks ago we bought a nice yucca it is about 4 foot tall and it had a little one alongside it (about a foot) we were told we could split these up and repot the smaller one so we did, turns out the smaller one wasnt even attached =) anyway we did the job and both now sit near a nice big window so plenty of light, the problem im having now is the big one has got yellow tips on a lot of leaves and some leaves are sagging, the small one is looking very limp indeed =( looked online and an `expert` said we should flush out the new compost to remove any salt and other stuff, so i have done that. i have put some stones in both outer pots to aid drainage (should these stones maybe be mixed in with the compost?) from what i have read its a fine line between over and under watering? also i had to `pack` the compost around the big one to stop it from leaning (is this ok)as i read that they should be loose? any help would be super thanks flash.
