I was watching GardenGirl on YouTube a few weeks ago. Then started watching all the posted video's and on one she talked about the Thirsty Light. I went to their website and reviewed the premise of the tools.

I ordered some curved thirsty plants, some originals and some plant nannies. I had tried the water globes but found they get plugged up to easily and often you can't guarantee what sized openings you get in the package. The small opening ones are a real pain to refill.

I'm loving how efficient the water nanny system works.. and I get to recycle water bottles too.

And the light indicators are great. Previously I had used this singing bird one I found in a store a few years ago.. but when the damn thing goes off at 4am.. and your stubbing your toes in the dark to shut it up... you quickly learn about revenge... hence the little Birdie is now a permanent outdoor fixture to annoy the wild birds when called upon.

They also had this great tool for measuring sun light, called a sun calculator.. I'm going to be ordering one of these as soon as they get stock. So that I can move my plants around the house to see if I have them in the best possible locations. It works indoors and outdoors.

For those of you plant obsessed.. you might want to check them out.

I always love finding new gizmos, that are practical and help take the guess work out of keeping beautiful plants.
