I have these clovers growing in my garden and I keep picking them out. I've noticed the clovers I did not get are now growing pretty purple flowers. Could this be a flower deliberately planted? The old owner of the house planted so many wonderful things. I was wondering if this might be one of them or if it is just a weed. Thanks for any help. Picture is below. If you know the name of this plant I would be grateful. Thanks again.

Definitely wood sorrel (Oxalis) of some sort, but which species exactly I have no idea. So I can't really say if it's a weed or not - I'd probably just let it grow, I often let "weeds" grow if they had pretty flowers. Although there's always the danger that it turns out to spread really badly and overtakes the whole garden.

Oxalis is a plant that does grow both wild and there are some that are sold and planted at Garden Centers. They will spread, so you must determine if that ire reasonable where they are located at. If they are a problem, use a produce such as roundup, which is a contact killer. Carefully spray that plant while protecting the other plants from it and it will kill off the plant
