Hi everybody,
This lovely house plant came into my possession from a friend who was moving house a few months ago, it's been in my hallway ever since, but I've recently moved it into the studio where it has full access to the sunlight.

I don't know what conditions it was under previously, but I water it every 2/3 weeks.

I'm completely new to plant care, but I know something is not right - some of the leafs look completely yellow and dead, whilst others are lush and green.

Could you please give me any advice as to how to proceed?

I think it's a beautiful plant, and it would be a shame for it to die.

- Scott

The yellowing leaves and brown tips happened to mine as well (though mine was in worse shape) and I ended up losing the plant. Don't despair, though, you may be able to save it.
